The commodity trader must bridge these diverse interests to ensure smooth transactions. The trader oversees various touchpoints, encompassing financial, operational, and marketing aspects, while addressing price fluctuations, diverse risks, and the impact of geopolitical developments. In this case, your task is to map the specific interests and risks of each stakeholder group—miners, refiners, car manufacturers, consumers, and banks—and explore how the trader addresses these challenges to maintain a stable and efficient battery materials market.
